التطبيق الرسمي الوحيد لصحيفة الإمارات اليوم على الأجهزة التي تعمل بنظام (آي أو إس) "الإمارات اليوم" صحيفة محلية، بالقطع العالمي الجديد، تصدر عن مؤسسة دبي للإعلام، وقد صدر العدد الأول منها في 19 سبتمبر 2005،وتركز في مجمل محتواها على الشأن المحلي، والقضايا التي تهم القراء العرب في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ضمن سياسة تلتزم بالشروط المهنية للعمل الصحافي القائم على الدقة والتوازن والموضوعية، وتسعى في الوقت نفسه لتلبية متطلبات القراء في المعرفة والترفيه الذكي، وتحاول من خلال صدورها بالقطع المصغر أن تتكيف مع التغييرات العالمية في هذا المجال، وتطور أساليب القراءة والتصفح، استجابة لمتطلبات الحياة العصرية، ويُنتج الصحيفة فريق محترف من الصحافيات والصحافيين الشباب. تستخدم في هذا البرنامج تقنية الـ RSS التي توفر آخر الأخبار للقارئ، كما تسهل للقارئ التواصل مع الجريدة عبر المشاركة بالتعليقات والتواصل مع الأصدقاء عن طريق إرسال الأخبار مباشرة عبر البريد الإلكتروني أو مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي مثل "…
