Watching the fish swim freely and listening to the gentle flow of water, this gift from nature provides a sanctuary for the soul amidst the noise. However, keeping fish is not just a romantic pursuit. From the initial purchase of the aquarium and selection of the filtration system, to daily feeding, adding water conditioners, and regular equipment maintenance and disease treatment, every step requires an investment of time and money. Many fish enthusiasts often have these questions: How much have I actually spent on this hobby? What are the biggest expenses? How can I better plan my fishkeeping budget?
