De route-app ‘DrentheRoutes’ neemt je mee door de prachtige provincie Drenthe en het Friese Ooststellingwerf. In de app vind je een groot aantal wandel- en fietsroutes, die je leiden naar de mooiste plekjes, waaronder prachtige heidegebieden, sfeervolle brinkdorpen en gezellige steden. De Route-app wordt u aangeboden door het Recreatieschap Drenthe, maar ook andere Drentse partijen bieden hun routes aan via deze app. Het aantal routes wordt steeds verder uitgebreid. Bij alle routes vind je interessante routepunten met allerlei wetenswaardigheden. De routes die jezelf interessant vind, kun je toevoegen aan ‘Mijn routes’. Alle routes kunnen worden gedownload, zodat je geen internetverbinding nodig hebt als je gebruik maakt de route . Voor een optimaal gebruik van de route-app is het noodzakelijk dat GPS is ingeschakeld (let op: dit kan de batterijduur aanzienlijk verkorten).
