Créé en 1986, le Festival International de Théâtre de Rue d’Aurillac n’a cessé de s’imposer comme l’une des principales manifestations de spectacle vivant en France. Pour son édition 2026, la ville accueille 25 compagnies officielles et près de 650 compagnies de passage qui font du Festival d’Aurillac, un événement exceptionnel de création, de recherche et de diffusion artistique. Durant ces 4 jours, Aurillac ouvre toutes ses rues, places, squares à quelques 150 000 spectateurs et spectatrices, afin d’offrir une programmation bouillonnante et ouverte sur l’international. Un grand rendez-vous artistique et culturel ! Depuis 2020, ÉCLAT, en collaboration avec des communes du département vous propose également de découvrir CHAMP LIBRE, une tournée de spectacles à travers le Cantal. Du 28 juillet au 09 août 2025, ce sont 23 communes qui ont fait le choix engagé et enthousiaste de défendre…
